Meet Lina

Hi, I'm Lina — the heart behind Alma Care. I accompany people through stress, grief, transitions, and moments of change, helping them find clarity and practical tools for everyday life.

I earned my degree in psychology in Colombia and completed additional training in clinical and health psychology. Along the way I discovered what I care about most: creating a warm, confidential space where people feel heard — especially people navigating life between two languages and two cultures.

My approach draws from cognitive-behavioral, contextual, mindfulness-based, and integrative perspectives. In practice, that means our sessions are conversations with a direction: understanding your emotions, strengthening how you cope, improving how you communicate, and building tools you can actually use.

Alma Care is fully virtual, so you can connect from wherever you are — in English or Spanish. Whatever brings you here, you don't have to figure it out alone.

Lina earned her degree in Psychology from Universidad de La Sabana in Colombia and completed additional training in clinical and health psychology. She is not a licensed psychologist or therapist in the United States; Alma Care offers non-clinical emotional wellness and personal development support, and is not therapy or a substitute for medical, psychiatric, or emergency care.
